§ 10 — THE FOUNDING BRIEF
Why Ready.ca exists. Who built it. What it refuses to be.
The short version: a long-time Canadian internet infrastructure operator couldn't find the coordination home he needed, so he built it. The longer version is below.
Ready.ca is the coordination infrastructure for Canadians who have already done the institutional analysis and are building lives that don't depend on the Canadian Dream being true.
It is not a political movement. It is not a doom feed. It is not a survivalist community. It is not a Conservative newsletter and it is not a Liberal apology. It is a professional-register home for the 40%+ of Canadians who feel politically homeless but refuse to stop thinking seriously about the country they've built their lives in.
The founder is Mark Jeftovic. Twenty-five years operating easyDNS. Publisher of Bombthrower. The record is what qualifies the voice.
The standard is: evidence first, calm competence always, no manufactured urgency, no partisan framing, no hectoring. The community is built on the four-pillar Readiness Stack and the belief that coordination multiplies individual capability in ways no institution currently does.
Build before you need it.
